THE IDEA

The idea of ​​BACU.ME (Business ACUMEn) was born in 2019 with the aim of providing students (and every aspiring entrepreneur) with a professional simulator that contained all the characteristic aspects of business management: human resources, procurement , inventory, production, sales, marketing, holiday management, cash flow and balance sheet.

According to Swedish psychologist Anders Ericsson, a talent needs 10,000 hours of practice to express itself. In the world of entrepreneurship you don't always have this privilege, sometimes you can only make one attempt and if you fail it can cost you dearly.

For this purpose, we have created Bacu; to allow today's entrepreneurs, and those of tomorrow, to refine their skills, to build a more prosperous and sustainable future.

Prof. Lorenzo Trapani of the University of Nottingham helped test the economic model used in the simulator.

The development of Bacu has required approximately 2,000 hours of programming and verification from its inception to today.

WHO WE ARE

Massimo Di Gruso Degrees in Economics and Philosophy (and almost in Biomedical Engineering) is currently an Expat in Germany for an American multinational transport company. From 2009 to 2019 he managed the digital publishing house Koi Press.

Luca Malini Entrepreneur in the publishing sector with 25 years of experience. Bookseller and publisher, editorial promoter, radio host, running and cycling enthusiast, curious by nature.
